Finnish rock band founded in 1976 by the two brothers Martti Syrjä and Mikko "Pantse" Syrjä and their cousin Aku Syrjä along with Mikko Saarela and Juha Torvinen. The band is one of the most popular and legendary Finnish rock bands though they started their career as a punk band and moved to Finnish rock through new wave music. Their mid and late 80s production can also be categorized as pop music.

Excluding the two bassist changes the bands line-up has remained unchanged since the beginning. Mikko Saarela quit as a bassist in 1979 though he continued to write lyrics for the band for few years more. He was replaced by Mikko "Vaari" Nevalainen on bass who in turn left the band in 1989. After Mikko Saarela finally quit altogether in 1981 Martti became the bands main lyricist and many of the bands best known songs are penned by Martti.

Their 1985 album Kahdeksas ihme is one of the best selling Finnish albums in Finland and one of the most iconic Finnish rock albums. It's also the first ever album released in CD format in Finland. Together with another Finnish rock band Popeda Eppu Normaali also released the first CD single ever released in Finland, EppuPopedaNormaali - 20 vuotta sikana. One of the bands singles was also the first cassette single released in Finland.
