- RELEASED: Some European repress based on the runouts as this one was pressed from the second/third cut.
Originally released on 11th of October 1986 (source: the booklet of 1998 remastered CD edition above).
- NOTE 1: The pressing quality might be better since my copy is warped and pressed off-center.
In addition I don't care much of the cutting quality of this edition, too much distortion for me though most likely this is a lacquer cut record.
- NOTE 2: This is most likely a German reissue pressed from the second/third German cut in Holland for the German market based on the runouts.
The German and Holland EMI plants had a very close relationship and sometimes it may be impossible to say what role each plant had in manufacturing a
release.
- NOTE 3: Based on the sound quality I believe this is a lacquer cut record.

Originally released on 11th of October 1986 (source: the booklet of 1998 remastered CD edition above).

I don't care much of the cutting quality of this edition, too much distortion for me though most likely this is a lacquer cut record.
The A3 cut is very close to the A2 cut, not much of a difference if you take into account the condition of my copies though I definitely prefer the A3 cut more.

- RELEASED: Probably the first Spanish edition made and released in 1986.
- NOTE 1: All the text prints on center labels, innersleeve and cover are somewhat blurry and hard to read, especially the small print is exceptionally difficult to read.
I have rarely encountered an official release with such blurry prints.

- INNERSLEEVE: printed paper innersleeve (the original innersleeve),
℗ 1986 Original Sound Recordings made by EMI Records Ltd. © 1986 Iron Maiden (Holdings) Ltd.,
EMC 3512
- RELEASED: Most likely the first Portuguese edition made and released in 1986.
- NOTE 1: The innersleeve seems to be a copy of the UK innersleeve but has a wider opening on the other top side than the innersleeve of the UK release.
- NOTE 2: All the text prints on center labels, innersleeve and cover are somewhat blurry and hard to read, especially the small print is exceptionally difficult to read.
I have rarely encountered an official release with such blurry prints.
- NOTE 3: Based on the sound quality I believe this is a lacquer cut record.
- NOTE 4: I prefer this edition the most of all the lacquer cut editions I've played. This one definitely sounds different (this is the first and the only Cortez cut I've played)
but is otherwise very good quality record. The bass drum and snare drum are well forward and guitars more back on this edition.
The Canadian edition below sounds way too stuffy compared to this one though it opens up beautifully by turning the volume knob, the Holland/German
A2-B3 and A3-B3 cut editions above have way too much distortion for me but is otherwise close to this one and the Spanish edition right above also has some
more distortion but is otherwise close to this one.
The pressing quality might be a little better since my copy is slightly warped.

- RELEASED: First and probably only the Canadian retail edition by EMI/Capitol.
Besides this one only other Canadian edition is known to exist: Columbia House mailorder edition.
Originally released on 11th of October 1986 (source: the booklet of 1998 remastered CD edition above).
- NOTE: Based on the runouts and sound quality this is one of the very few good quality non-DMM editions from the 80s and opens up beautifully by turning the volume
knob. Most of the mass produced vinyl releases of this album are DMM and sound somewhat bright and thin.
