In fact this is one of the best quality (if not even THE best quality) Finnish made vinyl I have ever played.

Especially the A-2 cut sounds really weird and lousy, the B-1 cut sounds much more natural. I wouldn't recommend this pressing to anyone!

- NOTE: The cover was definitely made in UK and the center labels are of the standard EMI UK labels with slightly different font than usually but the runouts are
definitely not of the standard EMI UK runouts. Based on some Swedish Hurriganes LPs I've had the runouts appear to be the same type of VERY thin stamped
runouts so this may have been cut in Sweden.
Some people say this is a Finnish release but AFAIK no evidence has been shown, only claims.

- NOTE: This is a a very good quality though low volume cut but luckily the vinyl is dead quiet. At first I liked this pressing a lot but as time went by and I compared this
to the UK edition right above this started sounding muffled, especially Gillan's voice has a lot more presence in the UK pressing right above.

- INNERSLEEVE: printed cardboard innersleeve (the original innersleeve),
POLH 16
- RELEASED: Early UK repress from the 80s based on the runouts.
Originally released in 1984.
- NOTE 1: The sound quality is typical silky soft and somewhat muffled Sterling cut and the sound quality is not miles away from the Finnish pressing below.
The pressing quality is very good for both records though this one has clearly much more surface noise possibly due to the original cardboard innersleeve
that has left marks on the vinyl.
- NOTE 2: Of all the editions of this album I've played I prefer this and the Japanese edition below the best, this one due to silky smooth sound quality and the Japanese
edition due to rougher and more naturally balanced sound. The Japanese edition clearly has different mix. The German edition below sounds too distorted
and unnaturally bright compared to this and the Japanese edition.

STEREO 823 777-1 [Y in a rectangular box]
- RELEASED: West German repress probably made and released around mid 80s.
Originally released in 1984.
- NOTE: The pressing quality is very good with nearly perfectly centered but slightly warped record but the cut is significantly brighter and more distorted than the
Sterling cut UK pressing above. Both are characteristic features to German made vinyl.
In fact the cut is so bright I get tinnitus whenever I spin this record (no I do not have worn out stylus right now).
The Japanese edition below sounds less bright, a lot more balanced and doesn't give me tinnitus.

- RELEASED: Finnish edition probably made and released around mid or late 80s.
Originally released in 1984.
- NOTE 1: The sound quality is not miles away from the Sterling cut UK pressing above which is a VERY honorable achievement from a Finnish cut.
Also, like normally for this Finnish pressing plant, the vinyl is quiet and the pressing quality is very close if not even slightly better than in the UK pressing above.
- NOTE 2: Barcodes weren't commonly used on Finnish CDs and vinyl records until around 1992/1993 so this a very funny release and the barcode is most likely
present due to Polydor's orders.
