Love Records, LRLP 84, black vinyl with simple cover, reissue

    - BARCODE: none

    - RUNOUTS: side A, full runouts, etched: LRLP 84 A o -83 Fx

                          side B, full runouts, etched: LRLP 84 B o -83 Fx

    - NUMBER OF SONGS: 11 (4/7 one of them is a three part medley and 5 of them are live songs)

    - VINYL: probably cut at and pressed by Finnvox in Finland

    - CENTER LABELS: white Love Records labels with small text rim around them,

                                    TEOSTO, All rights reserved, Stereo

    - COVER: simple cover printed by Kirjapaino E. Kuronen in Finland

    - INNERSLEEVE: white polylined paper innersleeve (not the original innersleeve)

    - RELEASED: Reissue cut in 1983 based on the runotus.

    - NOTE 1: The sound quality is very good though very bassy.

    - NOTE 2: Dispite sharing identical runouts this one has significantly worse sound quality than the release right below, so different it can't be solely due to the heavily

off-centered copy I had i.e. either the pressing quality between these 80s pressings varies vastly or my copy was played to death already before I got it

(looks NM though besides the off-centering of course).

    - NOTE 3: Only slight differences to the release right below, without taking into account a very small manufacturing variation the cover is identical for both releases but

                        * different rights society on the center labels (TEOSTO instead of BIEM n©b)

                        * the band name and album title are printed on red letters instead of purple

                        * thicker smooth-surfaced center labels

                        * "All rights reserved" printed on the center labels.

                          side B, full runouts, etched: LRLP 84 B o -83 Fx

    - NUMBER OF SONGS: 11 (4/7 one of them is a three part medley and 5 of them are live songs)

    - VINYL: probably cut at and pressed by Finnvox in Finland

    - CENTER LABELS: white Love Records labels with small text rim around them,

                                    BIEM n©b, Stereo

    - COVER: simple cardboard cover printed by Kirjapaino E. Kuronen in Finland

    - INNERSLEEVE: plain white paper innersleeve, die-cut from the other side only to show the center label (possibly the original innersleeve)

    - RELEASED: Reissue cut in 1983 based on the runouts, this is probably a repress made in mid to late 80s.

This may well be the last vinyl edition made before 2011.

    - NOTE 1: The sound quality is very good though very bassy.

    - NOTE 2: This one sounds significantly better than the release right above though both releases have identical runouts.

    - NOTE 3: Only slight differences to the release right above, without taking into account a very small manufacturing variation the cover is identical for both releases but:

                        * different rights societies on the center labels (BIEM n©b instead of TEOSTO)

                        * the band name and album title are printed on purple letters instead of red

                        * thinner rough-surfaced center labels instead of thick smooth-surfaced labels

                        * no "All rights reserved" printed on the center labels.

    - NOTE 4: This is supposedly the 6th edition of this album (source: http://www.saunalahti.fi/espe64/lpdisco.htm).

Love Records, LRLP 84, black heavyweight vinyl with gatefold cover, reissue, remastered

    - RUNOUTS: side A, full runouts, etched: 109789A1FK

side B, full runouts, etched: 109789B1FK

    - NUMBER OF SONGS: 11 (4/7 one of them is a three part medley and 5 of them are live songs)

    - VINYL: cut by Frank Kirschner and pressed by Celebrate in Germany

    - CENTER LABELS: white smooth-surfaced Love Records labels without small text rim around them,

                                    © & ℗ Love Records 1973 / Siboney 2011,

                                    TEOSTO NCB

    - COVER: gatefold cover with thick spine,

                    © & ℗ Love Records 1973 / Siboney 2011

    - INNERSLEEVE: plain uncoated thin white paper innerleeve, die-cut to show the center labels (the original innersleeve)

    - RELEASED: Reissue released in 2011.

                          Originally released in 1973.

    - OTHER: Originally released sealed without any stickers on shrinkwrap.

    - NOTE 1: This is a very good quality vinyl but I don't like much of the Mika Jussila's 2001 remaster this was cut from.

However, this is one of the cases where I'll rather listen to a remastered LP than its remastered CD counterpart.

    - NOTE 2: This record sounds quite soft, bassy and even somewhat stuffy in contrast to the 2001 remaster and the older 70s pressing above which has a lot less bass but

                      also sounds significantly brighter.

    - NOTE 3: This is supposedly the 7th edition of this album (source: http://www.saunalahti.fi/espe64/lpdisco.htm).

Love Records, LRLP 117, black vinyl with soft gatefold cover, (repress?)

    - BARCODE: none

    - RUNOUTS: side A, full runouts, etched: LRLP-117-A

side B, full runouts, etched: LRLP-117-B

    - NUMBER OF SONGS: 11 (6/5)

    - VINYL: probably cut and pressed somewhere in Finland

    - CENTER LABELS: white Love Records labels without small text rim around them,

                                    ℗ 1974, © Love Records,

                                   Stereo, TEOSTO NCB

    - COVER: soft, quite thin and spineless gatefold cover printed by Tammer Paino OY in Finland,

the LP can only be placed inside the back gatefold panel since the front gatefold panel is just a soft one-piece cardboard (i.e. there is no pouch to hold the LP)

    - INNERSLEEVE: white polylined paper innersleeve, die-cut to show the center labels (not the original innersleeve)

    - RELEASED: Probably one of the first Finnish edition made and released in the mid 70s.

    - NOTE 1: The sound quality is VERY good and dynamic (a very clear step up from their first album) though not yet as dynamic as in the Swedish edition below.

    - NOTE 2: This is supposedly the second Finnish edition released soon after the original misprinted release where only the misprints of the gatefold cover of the first

edition have been corrected. However, the dot is on the wrong side of the number 2 (".2 HEY GROUPIE" instead of "2. HEY GROUPIE") on the A-side center label.

                      (source: http://www.saunalahti.fi/espe64/lpdisco.htm)

    - NOTE 3: Due to the soft and quite thin cardboard used on the gatefold cover this edition is nowadays rarely seen in true NM or even in true VG+ condition.

IMHO many sellers frequently overgrade the cover of this edition and the cover is rarely seen in better than VG condition.

    - INNERSLEEVE: white polylined paper innersleeve, die-cut to show the center labels (not the original innersleeve)

    - RELEASED: Most likely a reissue released in the 70s.

    - NOTE 1: The sound quality is VERY good and dynamic as it should be since this was pressed from the same cut as the release right above.

    - NOTE 2: The release right above sounds a bit bright like many 70s records tend to do. This on the other hand sounds less bright and more balanced which makes

this my goto playing copy. The difference is not big though.

    - NOTE 3: This is supposedly the 5th Finnish edition of this album (source: http://www.saunalahti.fi/espe64/lpdisco.htm).

    - COVER: simple glossy cover printed by Kirjapaino E. Kuronen in Finland

    - INNERSLEEVE: plain white paper innersleeve, all corners clipped, not die-cut to show either center label (possibly the original innersleeve)

    - RELEASED: This is still a repress of the original 70s cut based on the runouts, most likely released in the mid to late 80s.

    - NOTE 1: The sound quality is VERY good and dynamic as it should be since this was pressed from the same cut as the two releases right above but this release

clearly has more bass than the two releases right above probably because this was pressed by a different pressing plant (Finnvox perhaps?).

    - NOTE 2: This is supposedly the 8th Finnish edition of this album (source: http://www.saunalahti.fi/espe64/lpdisco.htm).

    - RELEASED: Supposedly the first Swedish edition released in 1975.

    - NOTE: The sound quality is excellent, even more dynamic but also brighter than in all the Finnish editions I've played even though my copy is well scratched,

                  beaten up and warped.

    - RELEASED: Reissue made and released in 2011, supposedly a RSD reissue.

    - OTHER: Originally released sealed without any stickers on shrinkwrap.

    - NOTE 1: This is an excellent quality and very dynamic vinyl for a modern day vinyl release but I don't like the Mika Jussila's 1999 remaster this was cut from at all.

Despite the poor quality remaster this is probably one of the cases where I'll rather listen to a remastered LP than its remastered CD counterpart.

                                No printed innersleeve.

    - RELEASED: Probably  released in the mid to late 80s.

                          Supposedly the 6th Finnish edition.

    - NOTE: The sound quality is very good and very close to the release right above though this one has more higher frequencies probably because my copy of this edition

looks and plays NM and my copy of the edition right above looks it was played a lot but also taken care of. The other alternative is this was pressed by different

plant than the release right above. The cut is definitely the same for both editions since the runouts are identical and the grooves look the same.

The Swedish edition right below still sounds more brighter and dynamic.
