This is actually a UK edition made in France by a UK label for the UK market.
- NOTE 2: This one sounds much softer and even somewhat muffled compared to the release right below.

- NOTE: Spinefarm promos of the time seemed to have big printed promo note on the CD and included the booklet of the first limited retail edition of the album
in question but this one is actually very interesting Spinefarm promo because the booklet is clearly not identical to the first limited retail edition (no white box).

- OTHER: Supposedly limited to 20 000 copies.
- NOTE 1: Very few Spinefarm retail editions, like this one, are missing the Universal cat# from packing
(Universal Music bought Spinefarm on 22nd of March 2002 and all Spinefarm releases got an extra Universal cat# after the sale.
The first Spinefarm retail editions of Century Child were released on 23rd of May 2002.)

edition or after the download code had already expired in 2003.

- RELEASED: Made in 2002 based on the runouts, most likely also released in 2002.
- OTHER: Second vinyl is single sided with nothing but center label and some scratches from the paper innersleeves on D side.
Includes insert, originally released sealed without any stickers on shrinkwrap.
- NOTE 1: This release has two misprints. Firstly the side C center label has wrong RPM printed on it, 45RPM instead of the real 33RPM.
Secondly three sides have misprinted cat# on the center labels, spi149cd instead of the correct spi149lp.
- NOTE 2: The pressing quality of these records is very good with nearly perfectly flat and perfectly centered records though I've also seen a copy with badly warped
second disc. However, this cut is heavily brickwalled which is why I like more of the 2007 Unity cut.

- RELEASED: Reissue pressed in 2007 based on the runouts, most likely also released in 2007.
- OTHER: Includes insert. Originally released sealed with an infosticker on the front on shrinkwrap.
- NOTE 1: The pressing quality of these records is excellent with nearly perfectly flat and perfectly centered records.
I prefer this cut slightly more than the cut of the original 2002 edition as this one has more air between the instruments.
However, I might like this even more on black vinyl pressed in some other plant as this sounds so soft which is most likely due to the vinyl material quality used
at RI plant. Many of the RI pressed records have that same soft sound quality regardless of the vinyl colour.
- NOTE 2: A funny mishap from RI is that I've personally seen a copy with three records inside the cover. That means probably some poor gal/guy got only one record.

- NOTE 1: The pressing quality is very good with only slightly warped and slightly off-centered records. The 2007 copies I have have better pressing quality than this one.
These records sound a bit clinical but have better guitars than the 2007 edition.
- NOTE 2: Neither the band nor the label released any official public info of this 2015 vinyl reissue series prior to the release date, these simply popped up for sale.

- INNERSLEEVES: printed cardboard innersleeves (the original innersleeves)
5791372 (record 1 innersleve) / 5791373 (record 2 innersleve)
- RELEASED: Reissue made and released in 2017 based on the runouts and copyrights.
Released on 20th of October 2017 (source: Finnish EMP webshop).
- OTHER: Originally released sealed with one infosticker on the front on shrinkwrap.
Only the infosticker carries cat# 06025 5788340 4.
- NOTE 1: The innersleeve are just a compilation of the CD editions innersleeve.
- NOTE 2: AFAIK this edition was not widely available, this may have been sold by German stores only (like EMP).
- NOTE 3: The pressing quality might be better as the purple record 1 is badly warped and pressed badly off-center, the white record 2 has much better pressing quality.
This sounds like less accurate and more distorted version of the original 2002 vinyl edition, I will rather play the 2002 or 2007 edition than this one.

- RELEASED: Reissue made and released in 2022.
Released on 28th of October 2022 (source: Backstage Rock Shop, Spinefarm Records webshop and various other webshops).
- OTHER: Originally released in a resealable clear plastic sleeve without any stickers on it.
- NOTE 1: The cover is pretty much just a reprint of the 2015 edition with only updated copyright year and (C) (P) marks on the back.
The innersleeves also still carry the cat# of the 2015 edition.
- NOTE 2: The pressing quality might be slightly better as D-side was pressed heavily off-center when I opened this from shrinkwrap.
These records sound dull and lifeless compared to the 2002 and 2007 vinyl editions, even the 2017 edition sounds a lot better to my ears than this one.
- NOTE 3: The original release date was 18th of October but it was pushed 10 days ahead.
- NOTE 4: This was cut by the same plant as many recent reissues of Finnish albums and singles like the reissues of Eppu Normaali Valkoinen kupla and Kahdeksas ihme
albums and Hurriganes Blue Suede Shoes and Children of Bodom Downfall singles. All these releases come in a resealable clear plastic sleeve with a glue flap
meaning they were most likely also pressed by the same plant.

The black vinyl right above clearly has more accurate sound quality than this purple vinyl. I don't see anyone else but collectors enjoying these purple records.
